Insurance 101
The intent of this section is not to prepare you for an insurance agent’s license exam, but to help you become a more informed buyer. Insurance is difficult for most people. They know they have to have it, and they spend a lot of money on it, but few understand it! Insurance is not something that is included even in college level courses, which may be the reason that it seems so esoteric. Most people know little about identity theft, and how it be a devastating and expensive experience, or how credit scores can affect their cost of insurance. Many people have no knowledge of the Personal Umbrella.
I have tried to explain these things in a conversational tone, yet include some of rather complicated policy provisions. When concepts are tough, I have tried to break things down to the more simple components.
If you find these articles interesting and informative, then I have accomplished what I set out to do. If you have trouble understanding any part of it, or if it gets too intricate, please an email to me so that I can change the wording.
Each month, I will be writing a report that will either be on risk consideration, or the trends that can affect you or your insurance. That report will be on the home page of this website.
